Day 12: “Everyone will Enter this Door”

🌙 Ramadan Reminders 🌙
Day 1⃣2⃣: “The Destructor of Desires”

Whoever realises how short this life is and how little 🎭joy there is in it, how unpredictable 🎢 it is and how quickly 🌋things change for those whose main concern is this world, will not feel any regret for anything in it. They will never despair 😰for whatever passes or feel 😔sad about anything they have missed. For we have the Hereafter, which is greater and more lasting, ⛲better than this world.

So praise Allāh, for you believe in the meeting with the One, whilst others do not believe in that promised 🌄Day.

If power, 🎩position and 💰wealth could buy 💳happiness, why do we see so many 👑kings, 👘rulers and 👔businessmen living miserable lives, complaining about their 💔misfortunes?

{ قل ان الموت الذي تفرون منه فانه ملاقيكم }
“Verily, the death from which you flee, will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen (Allāh), and He will tell you what you used to do.” (62:8)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Increase in the remembrance of the destroyer of desires -meaning 🌘death“
“ أكثروا ذكر هادم اللذات – يعني الموت “.

He also said (ﷺ): Increase the remembrance of ⚰death for it purifies one from 💧sin (ie: becomes more self critical), makes one less 🔗attached to the ⛵🎡dunya. And if you remember it when you are wealthy 💵it destroys📈 (its value) and when you remember it when you are 📭poor it allows you to be 🎀content with your state of living.”

Remember, we are all on a race track, all heading towards the same 🚦destination. Some have reached🚏 there, others are still approaching.
